August 08, 2011 journal, America has a double whammy today with the stock market down 634 points and the helicopter shot down in Afghanistan killing 31 American soldiers plus 7 including 22 sacred Navy Seals. There is no excuse for our soldiers to be in harm's way. The bells are ringing and they are still clapping at their gambling Wall Street casino stock market while MSNBC had a guest saying 30 percent of American loans in 2008 were liars loans and no way rated AAA. Moody's is also threatening to lower America's credit rating. The Republican Party now has attacked Standard & Poor's service accusing them of being inaccurate but they were never questioned so long as they blindly approved phony stocks. I am rejoicing because gasoline prices will drop dramatically and this proves that Wall Street was artificially jacking up the price of crude to make themselves huge profits. Moody's should downgrade American creditworthiness because America is failing fast. I see good news in oil closing at $81 today. BankAmerica lost 20% of their value today in the stock market and they sure do deserve to loose it with all of their insane foreclosures. London is ablaze with rioters setting the place on fire and the worse since Hitler's aircraft. America's shinook helicopter crashed in Afghanistan with one man outdated rocket to its belly killing 38 people during a night raid. What will it take to bring all our troops home? They are being brought home dead in caskets a few at a time and this is not patriotic or heroic, it is just plain bad luck There is no need for anyone to be over there dying for our country. Thank God for some relief on oil prices that were jacked up by the stock market. Remember Bush & Paulson bailing out the banks? Those banks had sold stock shares in mortgages that were phony and misrepresented so why are those bankers not yet in jail? I believe credit agencies are being intimidated by the government and Wall Street is the government, to keep America's credit rating artificially high to fool the investors globally. Republicans held out for a ridiculous spend nothing bill and now their clients are paying a heavy price in the stock market collapse. In other words they shot themself in their foot. The stock market crash is blamed on Standard & Poors lowering America's credit rating but the market slide began Friday before the lowering of the credit rating was announced. Another bit of good news is that chemo therapy medication is in short supply, that could save more lives than if we come out of Afghanistan and mind our own business at home. 60 Minutes replay last might of bankers fraudulent foreclosures is worth copying down. Go to CBS 60Minutes.com for the unbelievable banksters out-sourced foreclosure mill. If you're facing foreclosure then please check every document they file in court carefully. If they cannot find the original documents or who it was sold to then you may be scotfree. I can smell another bailout stimulus coming to help them poor old Republicans get richer. To come out of a recession the Government needs to spend more money give to the poor. William Rivers Pitt, Truthout: "It was, simply, one of the worst weeks in recent memory. They passed the debt-limit 'deal' in Congress and sent it out for signature by Mr. Obama, and the pen he used might as well have been a tiny little white flag of surrender. The financial markets here and abroad reacted to the unqualified mayhem of the debt-limit fight by going south like a duck in winter, and newspapers all across the country carried dire stories of a looming double-dip recession." Dean Baker, Truthout: "Standard & Poor's (S&P) downgrade of US debt should be seen as the joke it is. The rating agency, which gave investment grade ratings to hundreds of billions of dollars of subprime mortgage-backed securities, made an accounting error of $2 trillion in doing its assessment of the US financial situation. However, when this error was called to S&P's attention, it still went ahead with the downgrade. Just like the war in Iraq, the policy was decided in advance of the evidence." Read the Article
